Assynt is an area of outstanding natural beauty, with hundreds of lochs and lochans, miles of coastline and native woodlands against the stunning backdrop of the majestic mountain landscape. Under-fished for many years and with lochs around every corner, it is truly a fisherman’s paradise. Some lochs have Salmon & Sea Trout runs.
Boats now available on Loch Poll, Gorm Loch Mor & Loch an Tuirc
Choose from some two hundred lochs, including Loch Crocach, Loch Drumbeg and Loch Cul Fraoich. Boats for hire on the main lochs, lifejackets provided. Permits cost £5 daily, £25 weekly, with boat hire at £10 a day, Season £45, Boat hire £10 per day. Children fish free.
