The Mountfield SP41 is an excellent, self-propelled petrol mower which is fairly cheap but cuts beautifully. So, if you push your mower down one length of your garden, the cutting width is the width of grass your mower will actually cut. A mower with a 39 cm cutting width for example, will cut 39cm of grass, so to cover a metre will take 3 passes of your mower.
